Clune J. Walsh, Jr., CLU, ChFC, Marketer

Clune J. Walsh, Jr.’s practice primarily deals with executive benefit and non-qualified funding issues facing publicly held and nonprofit health care corporations. Additionally, he is very involved in all aspects of estate planning. His clients include many Fortune 500 manufacturing firms as well as major health care, insurance, banking, real estate, retail, and utility institutions.

Clune is a past President of the Million Dollar Round Table, a member of the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters, Association for Advanced Life Underwriters, National Association of Pension Consultants (past-member, Board of Directors), National Association of Security Dealers (Co-Founder of Mutual Services, Inc.), Detroit Estate Planning Council, and Advisory Committee Southeastern Community Foundation.

A frequent lecturer, Clune has addressed the New York City Planning Council, Association for Advanced Life Underwriters, Million Dollar Round Table, and other professional and trade organizations. He has co-authored technical articles for the National Underwriter and Research and Review.

Clune has prepared due diligence seminars on insurance products for many of the major accounting firms (e.g., Coopers & Lybrant, Ernst & Young, Deloite & Touche) and law firms (e.g., Miller Canfield, Dykema Gossett, Bodman, Longley & Dahling).

Clune is a graduate of the College of Holy Cross and lives in Grosse Pointe, Michigan with his wife, Beverly. Clune is an avid art and decoy collector and an accomplished pilot and sailor. He enjoys golf, bowling, spending time with his family, and teaching catechism at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe.
